This project is a new magazine publication with a given brief and target audience during my typography course. The copy or written text for the content and cover is provided to simulate what it's like to design work for publication. The objective is to create a master spread or template for the publication that could be passed on to the next designer with ease. The end product of the project is a printed version of the magazine.

Reflection
Creating my style sheet and printing it off to physically see how the typography works with the columns and grids was the most important deciding factor for the overall design. It has been a helpful guide for me when laying out the text and figuring out hierarchy in each article.
The most challenging aspect of this project is finding the right images for the content while fitting the brand's visual style. Many of the images have to be color graded to fit the photography imagery that the publication is aiming for. Working with the print shop for the first time had taught me so much about how publication files should be prep. Shout out to Graphic Zoo in downtown Vancouver for helping me with my magazine!
